Shares Magazine Awards 2008

Shares Magazine, one of the UK’s most respected financial news publications, has awarded GFT in the “Best Active Trading Tools” nomination for its DealBook® suite of trading applications developed by Devexperts LLC. Top honors were announced in London on November 11, 2007.
The Shares Awards 2008 have been held to find the very best providers across 26 categories including stock broking, derivatives trading, online research, trading platform and fund management. During 4 months Shares Magazine circulated a questionnaire and offered an online voting facility to all its readers, asking them to choose the best broker, service or product in each nomination.

DealBook® 360 received the first award in the “Best Active Trading Tools” category, which included products from Barclays Stockbrokers, CMC Markets, GNI touch, a trading name of MF Global UK, Interbank FX, and Sucden – SMART. The category recognizes the provider that offers the most comprehensive, convenient and useful tools for active traders. GFT’s tools, such as a trading signals program that helps traders find the best markets to trade along with a timing tool that forecasts the best times to trade, offer the one-two punch needed to make the most informed trading decisions. In addition, DealBook® 360 offers more than 100 technical indicators, as well as access to streaming news from Dow Jones Newswires.

It is the second year in a row when the readers of Shares Magazine honor DealBook® 360 as the best online trading platform. In 2007 DealBook® 360 was recognized the Best Product of the Year by the majority of readers. According to the magazine’s website, active traders need software that’s responsive to their needs in differing market conditions. Issues like reliability and support are important, as are execution and pricing, along with features such as customized alerts, single-click dealing and fast access to newsfeeds. DealBook® 360 is the very software that suites all these requirements.

DealBook® 360 trading platform includes many standout features for multi-market trading, ranging from foreign exchange and futures in the United States, as well as spread betting and CFD trading in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. In addition to delivering real-time pricing and order execution, DealBook® 360 offers traders customizable charting features; audible, text and e-mail price alerts; and order types such as trailing stops to help traders seek to limit losses and protect profits.

In 2009, GFT is intended to offer even more services and tools to help customers trade to their highest potential and earn more with GFT and DealBook® 360.
