Cycle Brackets is useful when you need to separate a chart into periods (cycles), so that you can predict an uptrend/downtrend tendency at the start of the next cycle. Every cycle is measured from one point to another.

The Cycle Brackets are drawn by specifying two points. To add Cycle Brackets to the chart, click its name or the iconcycle_brackets_icon(1)on the Drawings Panel. Then, do the following steps:

    • Specify a point on the chart where the price is the lowest.
    • Move the pointer right or left to the next lowest point adjusting the width of the cycle by the time scale at the bottom.
