        DXcharts comprise trading indicators (studies) that help day or swing traders analyze the market fluctuations and make the decision on buying or selling various types of assets. Generally, indicators are used either to help predict the market trends or give signals about entry/exit points on charts.

        DXcharts has almost 100 predefined indicators. All of them can be used separately or in conjunction to perform technical analysis on the charts. Along with that, there is a possibility to create or import custom indicators through dxScript language.

        Indicators

        The indicators differ by type, which is usually indicated in the name: Moving Average, Index, Oscillator, Bands, Trend, Stochastic, Range, Volatility, and others. See the full description on every indicator on its page, the descriptions are ordered alphabetically (A-Z).

        How to add an indicator

        1. At the top-center of the charts, on the Toolbar, click the Indicators settingsicon.
        2. Scroll through the list of available indicators or filter them by typing in a part of an indicator's name.
        3. Double-click the indicator's name or drag it to the ADDED INDICATORS area.
        4. To show the indicator's settings, click its name in the ADDED INDICATORS area.
        5. Change the indicator's settings if needed.
        6. Click Close.

        How to edit an indicator

        1. Move the pointer to the indicator's name on the charts.
        2. Open the indicator's menu by clicking the Settingsdx_charts_settings_iconicon.
        3. Click an indicator in the ADDED INDICATORS area to show settings.
        4. Every indicator has its own set of settings, change any of them if need be.
        5. Click Close.

        Note: To reset the settings, click Restore to Default next to the SETTINGS: INDICATOR'S TITLE

        How to delete an indicator

        1. Move the pointer to the indicator's name on the charts.
        2. Clickto remove the indicator.

        or

        1. At the top-center of the charts, on the Toolbar, open the settings menu by clicking the Indicators settingsicon.
        2. Drag the indicator from the ADDED INDICATORS area to the list on the left or click on the cross at the end of the title.
        3. Click Close.
        Note: To remove all applied to the charts indicators at once, right-click the chart area and select Clear indicators
