        Rectangle is a geometrical shape tool that is used to frame and highlight a certain area on the chart.
        The Rectangle is drawn by two points. To add an Oval to the chart, click its name or the iconrectangle_iconon the Drawings Panel. Specify the first point on the chart, move the pointer in required direction to form a rectangle and then click to fix it.

        Note: To cancel drawing, press ESC

        Actions with the Rectangle

        • To edit the size or form of the Rectangle, point to its border line and drag it by one of four points.
        • To move the Rectangle, point to its border line and simply drag it to where you want it on the chart.
        Note: To open the settings window, double-click the Oval border line

        Color. In the Color section, you can change the color of the border line of the Rectangle. The slider at the bottom is intended to set transparency of the color.
        To create a custom color:
        • clickto open the color picker
        • by using the slider at the bottom, adjust the main color
        • on the color picker, set a shade for the main color

        The custom-created colors are added to your palette. To remove a custom color, drag it out of the palette.

        Weight. In the Weight section, you can set the thickness and style for the border line of the Rectangle (currently, only dashed style is available).
        Settings. A set of parameters that are described in Rectangle Settings.
        Lock. Locks the drawing position. The figure cannot be moved or edited on the chart.
        Delete. Removes the rectangle from the chart.
        Note: To delete a rectangle, you can also press the Delete or Backspace button on your keyboard

        • Coordinates. The coordinates of the upper and lower sides of the Rectangle. You can put them manually by filling out the values for the prices, dates and time.
        • Style. In this section, you can set the border line color, style or the background color of the Rectangle.
          Clear Background checkbox to remove the background of the Rectangle.

        Close to apply the settings.

        Note: At the bottom-left corner of the window, click Restore Defaults to reset the settings
