    Regression Trend is similar to a Trend Channel. The difference is that it shows deviation levels (upper and lower) from a base line.
    The main idea of this tool is to determine where the price overcomes the deviation levels. Regression Trend is drawn by two points. 

    To add Regression Trend to the chart, click its name or the iconregression_trendon the Drawings Panel. Specify first point on the chart to start drawing a trendline, then specify the second point to place the regression trend.

    Note: To cancel drawing, press ESC

    Actions with the Regression Trend

    • To edit the Regression Trend (its trendline), snap it to another price point on the chart by dragging.
    • Regression Trend can't be moved around the chart without snapping to specific prices.
    Note: To open the settings window, double-click a line on the chart

    Color. In the Color section, you can change the color of the Regression Trend entirely. The slider at the bottom is intended to set transparency of the color.
    To create a custom color:
    • clickto open the color picker
    • by using the slider at the bottom, adjust the main color
    • on the color picker, set a shade for the main color

    The custom-created colors are added to your palette. To remove a custom color, drag it out of the palette.

    Weight. In the Weight section, you can set the thickness and style of the Regression Trend entirely (currently, only dashed style is available).
    Settings. A set of parameters that are described in Regression Trend Settings.
    Lock. Locks the drawing position. The figure cannot be moved or edited on the chart.
    Delete. Removes the Regression Trend from the chart.
    Note: To delete a Regression Trend, you can also press the Delete or Backspace button on your keyboard

    Regression Trend Settings

    • Coordinates. The coordinates of two points of the trendline you can specify manually by filling out the values for the dates and time.
    • Deviation. The offset of the upper and lower deviation level from the base line. To apply new values, click to the left of Use Upper Deviation or Use Lower Deviation.
      Source. Sets the price data source to calculate the channel position:
      • Open
      • Close
      • High
      • Low
      • (H +L)/2
      • (H + L + C)/3
      • (O + H + L + C)/4
    • Style. In this section, you can set a color and style for the base line, upper and lower level of the Regression Trend.
      Extend Lines - extends base line, upper and lower deviation levels to the right.
      Pearsons's R - shows a label with a ratio calculated between two points of the trendline.

    Click Close to apply the settings.

    Note: At the bottom-left corner of the window, click Restore Defaults to reset the settings
