On October 15 at 3:00 PM GMT+1, Jon Light (Devexperts), Ed Hancock (Pelican Trading), Rauan Khassan (TradingView), and David Kimberley (TradeInformer) will discuss how brokers and prop firms are building for their next stage of growth. Register for the webinar Acquisition costs keep climbing, and traders now choose between more brokers and prop firms than at any point before. Growth depends on what a firm runs underneath and on what brings a client back. The session covers: How to move from an entry-level SaaS setup to a platform you control What retail traders expect from a trading interface, and how frontend quality affects conversion How copy trading and social features change trader lifetime value Where prop firms and retail brokerages overlap Also on the agenda: product-led growth as an alternative to paid acquisition, frontend integrations such as DXtrade and TradingView, and international expansion on a fixed budget. Who is speaking Four executives who work on different sides of the growth problem: Jon Light, Senior Director of Product Management, Devexperts Jon Light runs product management at Devexperts. Before joining, he held senior FX product and trading roles at Marex Spectron, CFH Clearing, Markit, and Cobalt, where, as Head of Product, he supervised the development of shared FX infrastructure for the industry. He has built platforms and client solutions for brokers, banks, trading venues, and buy-side firms that span the trade life cycle, from market data and execution through to STP and post-trade. On this panel, he takes the platform side of the question: what a broker gains by controlling their technology, and what the move costs along the way. Ed Hancock, Director of Operations, Pelican Trading Ed Hancock heads Pelican’s UK operations, where he oversees the copy trading systems the company provides to brokers. His background spans engineering, research, analysis, and marketing. Rauan Khassan, Chief Growth Officer, TradingView Rauan Khassan joined TradingView in 2015, in the platform’s third year, when it had fewer than one million users. As Regional Manager for CIS markets, he took the local community to its first 100,000 unique monthly visitors within six months with no external marketing spend, which is a worked example of the product-led growth this session covers. He now oversees international expansion and the broker partnerships that let traders execute directly from TradingView charts. DXtrade is one of those integrations. TradingView records over 100 million views a month and connects to more than 70 exchanges across crypto and traditional markets. David Kimberley, Founder, TradeInformer David Kimberley founded TradeInformer in 2022. It began as a weekly email for people working inside the industry and now runs as a news and analysis site covering brokers, prop firms, trading platforms, and the technology behind them, with a separate weekly newsletter devoted to prop trading. The writing favors long-form analysis of how firms make money and reports on company filings and payout data across the sector. Before TradeInformer, he worked at the London stockbroker Freetrade and at the asset management group Kepler Partners. Registration The discussion will be beneficial for brokerage and prop firm executives planning their next stage of growth, as well as the product and growth leads who own the platform decisions behind it. Registration is open now. Registrants who cannot attend live will receive the recording afterward. Register for the webinar
