Futures Trading Platform Made Available to US Brokers by Devexperts

Devexperts launches futures platform

New York, February 4, 2025 – Devexperts, the global software developer for the capital markets industry, has launched a turnkey futures trading platform.

Available immediately, the platform will enable brokers looking to expand into both futures and options on futures trading to allow the execution of these types of contracts via Devexperts’ technology. The platform can be deployed instantly out-of-the-box, or with full or in-part customization.

With its global team of 800-strong developers, the launch of Devexperts’ specialist futures trading platform comes as the company looks to meet ongoing demand for futures products, in line with a continued market demand for derivatives trading instruments, including futures, particularly in the US.

A number of international market factors mean we are seeing ongoing interest in futures trading worldwide. This is particularly the case in the US, however, where the regulatory environment can make derivatives, such as futures, particularly appealing.

Ben Hurley, CEO of Devexperts

Devexperts has over 20 years’ experience developing software for firms and exchanges worldwide, with clients ranging from start-ups to some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Devexperts’ new futures trading platform provides brokers with access to futures and options on futures on CME and ICE; is partnered with futures commission merchants; and features DOM ladder trading, with simplified, one-click order placing functionality removing complexity, and aligning with UX expectations on specialized futures platforms.

Other functions include a real-time order management system (OMS), with automated real-time calculation of SPAN margin requirements and built-in pre-trade validation of placed orders to ensure margin requirements are satisfied; as well as a post-trade monitoring function that ensures portfolios are automatically liquidated in case of market moves, whilst also allowing brokers to offer intraday margin discounts and liquidation levels according to their risk management practices. The platform provides full integration with executing destinations, with existing destinations including CQG, StoneX, and others.

From traders’ point of view, the platform provides default integration, via dxFeed, Devexperts’ market data service, with a number of exchanges, including CME and ICE. The integrations provide real-time Level 1 and Level 2 quotes, as well as all necessary wider market data, with the option to integrate with any other US futures exchange. It also provides automatic alerts; a heatmap tool; and built-in option strategies. The white-labeled platform is available in web browser as well as in iOS and Android mobile trading app formats.

Hurley continues: “We try to anticipate our clients’, and the wider markets’, needs. We have been developing this platform for some time and are now able to provide our customers with the software they need to meet the demand they are seeing from within the market. Timing-wise, this is a good time to launch our futures trading platform and we look forward to working with both current and prospective clients on their deployment or upgrading of their futures trading capabilities.”

Devexperts specializes in fully comprehensive software and technology consultancy services for financial firms and exchanges; providing custom development services for the capital markets; and delivering multi-asset trading platforms, matching engines, and exchange solutions.

The company’s new futures platform comes with a dedicated Devexperts account manager for ongoing customer service and care. Looking forward, the platform offers unlimited scalability and the addition of further asset classes, enabling it to support brokers as they expand and grow.
