Anthony Mervin Joins Devexperts August 19, 2024 London, 19 August 2024 – Anthony Mervin has joined Devexperts as a Vice President of Sales and Business Development, responsible for the Australia and APAC regions. With 25+ years in the industry, Anthony brings with him a wealth of experience in financial technology sales, with a particular focus on investment data and research products, and quant systems. Having graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle in New South Wales, Anthony’s career includes five years leading sales teams, and ultimately the investment management business unit, of Thomson Reuters across the Asia Pacific region. Anthony has also held the positions of Sales Director of EPFR | Informa Financial Intelligence, where he was responsible for new business growth in the SEA Pacific, Indian, and Japanese markets; and, for a number of years, of Account Director for Sales across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore at ITRS. Most recently, Anthony was Senior Vice President for Business Development at Morningstar where he worked closely with clients, including brokers and wealth managers, across the Australian and New Zealand markets. Anthony’s broad experience positions him as an expert in the field of financial technology, with the ability to provide clients with valuable advice on product sourcing. Anthony’s strong suit is his ability to build long-lasting relationships, placing high value on integrity and trust. In his role at Devexperts, Anthony will be responsible for developing the business in the Australia and APAC regions, where he sees great potential for Devexperts’ versatile technology to support both start-up brokerages in setting up, and established brokers and banks with legacy system updates.
