Mark Belane Joins Devexperts

Mark Belane appointment

London, February 24, 2025 – Mark Belane has joined Devexperts as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances.

Mark’s 30+ years of broad and diverse experience means he brings with him a strong understanding of financial technology, as well as a passion for working closely with clients to understand and meet their individual needs within an ever evolving international business environment. His deep knowledge of the capital markets and technology will be particularly valuable to clients going through technology transformations. Mark’s guidance will help those going through these periods of transition to navigate the complexities of emerging technologies, helping them to select the most efficient software solutions, whilst remaining compliant and secure in a fast-moving yet heavily-regulated industry such as capital markets. In keeping with Devexperts’ culture and approach, Mark will provide clients with advice tailored not only to their budgets but that fit their unique business needs.

Having completed his studies at a number of universities and business schools, Mark began his career at IBM before moving into the finance sector where he worked at Nykredit Investment and consulted for the likes of Grupo Santander, VidaCaixa Nets, Danske, Danica, Morgan Stanley, BancSabadell (TSB), Caixa, PFA, Jyske, Mapfre, Groupama, SAXO, Zürich, Chubb, Allianz, QBE, Pohjola, DnB, Nordea, MetLife, KBC, Deutsche, Achmea, ABN Amro, Tryg, Codan, RSA, HSBC, Standard Chartered, OP Financial Group, and CSOB. Recently Mark held positions at TIA Technology (now Sapiens), Fadata, KPMG, and Sirma. Mark has also been a trusted advisor and mentor for various startups, including being present on advisory boards.
