DXcharts Updates: Custom Studies for Bespoke Trading Analytics

DXcharts is back with a huge update! In this major release, we’re introducing custom studies, or a way to create literally any technical indicator and get it up and running inside DXcharts. We’ve also added a new feature that lets you hide menu items and settings—so your DXcharts are truly yours. Read on to learn more.

Custom studies

Client teams are now free to create any technical indicator using the DXcharts API. These custom studies can follow any calculation logic based on price data and can comprise multiple output series with diverse visualizations. The custom studies feature also includes built-in utility functions that facilitate common technical analysis calculations.

Custom studies are fully integrated with the chart mainframe and update automatically in real time when loading historical data. 

Custom studies allow you to build exactly the analytics your traders need instead of being limited to a fixed set of indicators. Traders will always see accurate, real-time patterns in the same workflow, enabling faster decisions and product differentiation without extensive modifications.

Ability to hide/show menu items and settings 

We’ve also added an ability for our client teams to hide or show selected menu items and settings in the DXcharts UI. This update gives you more control over the look and feel of your chart instance and helps you bring to the forefront those items you really need.
