DXcharts Updates: Volume by Price Drawings, Theme Builder, Events for Google Analytics September 3, 2024 Welcome to the latest updates on DXcharts, our financial charting software! This time, we’re thrilled to present newly added drawings – Volume by price, a tool playground for customizing chart colors, and Google Analytics events available in the chart library and widget. Read on for more details! Volume by price The number of drawings in DXcharts is growing day by day. In the latest release, we’ve added additional drawing tools that help display the amount of volume as a horizontal histogram on the chart: Range volume profile and Anchored volume profile. Both drawing tools are a part of the Volume by price system, which is used to illustrate high buying and selling interest at specific price levels. Range volume profile The Range volume profile shows the amount of volume for a particular price range on the chart. The range for the volume is defined by the start and end points and is based on the highest and lowest prices for the specified period. Range volume profile Anchored volume profile Similar to the Range volume profile, the Anchored volume profile shows the volume based on the highest and lowest prices, but it takes the range from the starting point you’ve specified to the last candle on the chart. Anchored volume profile In summary, the Volume by price drawings show how much volume there is at a certain price range on the chart. In general, they can be used to identify the current and to estimate the future support and resistance levels based on the amount of volume. Theme builder To help developers, designers, or just chart enthusiasts to fit charts to their environment, we’ve created a theme builder that allows you to customize and apply different colors to the chart elements and see the result on the fly. Here’s a playground with a wide range of chart element colors that can be changed with a click. Chart colors customization Google analytics Lately, we’ve added the possibility to use Google Analytics for the chart library and widget.
